About

Abstract and conceptual meets direct and distinct.

Visual content for brands, businesses, and people.

Sterling Vicenti

I began my creative journey in film at Temple University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications in 2018. During my studies, I gained hands-on experience in all areas of media production, collaborating with industry leaders such as Google Japan, Panasonic, and YouTube Japan. This sparked my freelance career in content production, leading to diverse projects for clients across various industries—from wine to pet care.

Upon returning to the U.S., I joined the IATSE Camera Union, starting as a Camera Production Assistant and working my way up to Camera Assistant. After three years in TV and film, I returned to Japan, where I worked as an Equipment Technician, Freelance Camera Assistant, and Editor for Panic Ball Productions.

Growing up in a small town in New Mexico, I was deeply influenced by the vibrant art and culture, particularly the meticulous yet lively expressions of New Mexican art. This influence was further enriched after moving to Tokyo in 2013, where I spent six years immersing myself in Japanese art and culture. These experiences shaped my unique perspective, which I aim to share through my work.

My creative approach seeks to balance precise detail with broad, expressive elements. I focus on solving the core problem of each project while bringing it to life through texture, color, and sound. Every project undergoes multiple iterations, allowing me to explore this balance fully.

For me, balance is not about adding more to a project but about maintaining a deliberate tension. This tension invites the audience to engage emotionally, sparking a deeper curiosity about the content and allowing to digest information in a new way. Ultimately, my goal is to create experiences that leave a lasting impression.
